SyndicIT Joins HP Solutions Business Partner Program as Silver Partner
Announcement advances the mission of SyndicIT to establish an enterprise-wide standard for the capture and movement of documents in multihousing and commercial real estate at the 'speed of light'
Kensington, NH (PRBuzz.com) May 3, 2013 -- SyndicIT Services LLC (SyndicIT) today announced that it has become a HP Silver Partner. The focus of this development agreement enables SyndicIT to utilize HP's development tools to advance the integration of SyndicIT's document management systems and services for the residential and commercial real estate industries with HP's advanced, laser-based multifunction printers (MFP). Through this alliance, the paperless leasing office of the future is now a simple, cost-effective reality for any apartment owner or operator.
SyndicIT Services LLC was selected by the HP Solutions Business Partner program after demonstrating leadership in the development of enterprise-wide solutions to enable paperless operations and back-office automation for multifamily owners and operators. The focus of the SyndicIT solution will center around the SyndicIT document management system for multifamily called DocumenIT that allows property owners and operators to eliminate the cost and hassle associated with paper-based operations and automate the storage, processing, and management of documents in any leasing office or corporate department, including A/P, HR, and vendor contract management.
Through this alliance, SyndicIT will be able to revolutionize the Multifunction Printing Device (i.e. scanner) at any property into a "Multi-factor Productivity" device that will accelerate the sharing of critical business records, improve processing time all the way from the property to corporate offices, and connect portfolios in a way never before seen in the industry.
The SyndicIT configured MFPs will be used to enhance the capture and digital distribution of the documents utilized in real estate property operations. Specialized functions embedded in the interface control panels of the targeted MFP's will make capture and distribution of documents a 'one touch' function customized to the needs of property operators. Utilizing this functionality will further ensure accurate and consistent document capture and the automatic routing of documents into the correct digital file cabinets, into specialized workflows and into user 'in-boxes' of the company's DocumenIT system for digital property operations.
"We are excited about the opportunity afforded by SyndicIT's selection into the HP Solutions Business Partner Program," described Lauryn Schimmel, Managing Director of SyndicIT Services. "Through this relationship with HP, a global leader in technology services and solutions, SyndicIT will be able to further deliver 'best-in-class' technologies to the Multifamily industry that seamlessly interact to make enterprise-wide deployment of advanced document management as easy and simple for any property to use."
SyndicIT expects its HP device solution to revolutionize the future of leasing offices and empower lease associates, property managers, regional managers, and senior management to instantly store, share, and access critical business records right from a scanner. With HP technology, repetitive business processes can be replaced with "one-click" workflows that connect SyndicIT users through a common platform and centralized document repository to dramatically reduce costs associated with paper-based practices and improve efficiency throughout an entire property portfolio.
The use of these MFP's will provide a strategy and a platform for document automation and centralized mail room operations. In addition, SyndicIT's built-in tools will be empowered by HP devices to allow for instant digital signatures, anytime file compliance audits, and robust reporting tools that allow property owners and operators to monitor pending work related to documents. With SyndicIT and HP devices, property owners and operators can put their documents to work for them, enabling true "content" management that will allow new data analytics and property-related performance analysis to be gained with unparalleled ease.

(PRBuzz.com) May 6, 2013 -- In some circumstances a commitment of partners in a partnership organised under the German Civil Law (GbR) binding the partners to the partnership for an overly long period may be inappropriate.
GRP Rainer Lawyers Tax Advisors, Cologne, Berlin, Bonn, Düsseldorf, Essen, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hanover, Munich, Stuttgart, Bremen, Nuremberg and London www.grprainer.com/en explain: The GbR is a partnership based on a partnership agreement in order to support a purpose jointly pursued by the partners. There are only a few mandatory legal requirements for the GbR and it is up to the partners to shape the company through its memorandum of partnership. However, commitments of partners by a memorandum of partnership of a GbR can also be invalid in some circumstances.
The Federal Court of Justice (BGH) ruled in the court decision dated 6 November 2012 (Ref. no.: II ZR 176/12) that a commitment of partners by a memorandum of partnership of a GbR binding the partners to the partnership for a long period of time (31 years in the case to be decided) may be inappropriate and therefore invalid. The GbR concerned was a closed-end fund and one of the investors wanted to leave. In the eyes of the BGH the long-term commitment of the partners led to an inappropriate limitation of the partner's options for termination having regard to the German Civil Code (BGB).
As a consequence, a long-term commitment that restricts the personal and economic freedom of a partner of a GbR and that makes the existing risks of liability unmanageable may be invalid. This makes a deliberate decision in every single specific case necessary. Important indications may be the legitimate interests of the individual partner and the company, the nature and extent of the obligations arising from the participation in the company and the structure of the company.
There is always a risk when establishing a partnership organised under the German Civil Law, maybe even because there are only a few mandatory legal requirements. That is why it is so important to place the interests of a company even before its establishment in the hands of experienced lawyers.

(PRBuzz.com) May 6, 2013 -- Spring has Sprung! As we begin to see the flowers bloom, it's a reminder that now is the time for the annual spring cleaning. It's not just the standard dusting that needs attention; to uphold the value of your home, performing routine maintenance and cleaning is necessary. Here's a list of the most basic spring cleaning you should see that your home receives.
HOME SPRING CLEANING CHECKLIST
Clean Roof Gutters - During the winter, these can become blocked by fallen leaves and debris.
Install Organization Shelving System in Closets - Use spring cleaning as an excuse to tackle that organization project you've been procrastinating.
Window and Screen Washing - Water marks from rain and dirt can get caked onto windows and screens. Performing a solid scrub is usually all that's needed. You will be stunned how the clean windows brighten up a room.
Clean Fireplace - Now that the winter chill has left, you will not be needing to use your fireplace for at least another 6 months. Remove all of the ashes out the fireplace to clean up your living room.
Repair Grout and Remove Mildew - All of that mold and mildew build up in your bathroom and kitchen sink is disgusting and can be hazardous to your health. Take care of it before it gets out of hand.
Install Garage Shelving - Organize all of your tools and cleaning supplies so that you know exactly where to find everything.
Install Garage Lighting - While you are straightening up your garage, install proper lighting.
Install Drapes and Blinds - As the days are getting longer and the temperature heats up, you will want to have good blinds to keep your home cool.
Install Ceiling Fan - Speaking of keeping things cool, adding a ceiling fan can greatly increase the airflow in a room, preventing you from having the crank up the AC. We are all for a lower energy bill, right?
Paint a Room a New Vibrant, Spring Color - Is the warmer weather inspiring you? Freshen up a room with new paint. It's amazing how paint can liven up any space.

(PRBuzz.com) May 6, 2013 -- Independent bands and singers have always been the "backstage boys" of the music industry. Well not anymore. Lucy-May and Fabian Upton have teamed up to form Vices and Adulation, a melodic metal indie rock band. Since their formation in January 2013, the band consistently gained fame and recognition. Other than launching a few websites such as vicesandadulation.com (their main website) they also used social media behemoth Facebook to promote themselves. She says on an interview that if recording artists cannot play on shows, fans need to show their support through internet downloads and publicity in social media. Their Facebook page Vices and Adulation already has 13,000 likes by the first week. By mid-April 2013, their Facebook page already has a staggering 368,000 likes. Surely, this band is something to watch out for.
Lucy-May Upton is the lead vocals of Vices and Adulation. Coming from the West Midlands, Lucy-May is also a published poet and a self-trained talented artist. According to a recent interview, she wants to lend a hand at bringing enjoyment to as many people as possible through music, the same way it positively affected her life. The bands Facebook page is also full of Lucy-May's picture ranging from simple close-ups to sensual and sexy photo shoots.
Fabian Upton comes from Devon and is the guitarist and musician of Vices and Adulation. An untrained musician, he can play the guitar or bass by ear and by identifying patterns. Fabian's guitar enthusiasm really shows. On an interview, he said he wants to win the GuitarWar titles simultaneously. He's also currently the eighth finger tapping titleholder. When asked what does he want to achieve as a recording artist, he just says that he do what he does because it's fun.
Vices and Adulation has a lot of influences such as Queen, Evanescence, Guns n Roses, and a lot of GuitarWar guitarist. Certainly these icons contributed to "Dragon Princess", the band's first vocal release. Just released in March 2013, "Dragon Princess" already received a lot of positive reviews. According to vicesandadulations.com they will be releasing new singles every month.
Vices and Adulation, with their sexy and catchy songs undoubtedly took metal indie rock to the mainstream.

(PRBuzz.com) May 6, 2013 -- If real estate business in Florida will be mentioned or talked about, chances are the name of Luis Iglesias will come to mind. Luis Iglesias, a real estate mogul, dominates the real estate business around the Florida area. A self-made business tycoon, he founded D & I International Realty - a world-renowned luxury/sports and entertainment real estate firm.
Backed with extensive knowledge of the real estate business, his keen decision making ability, superb communication and negotiation skills, not to mention the huge network of contacts he possesses - all this acquired through years of experience - Luis Iglesias successfully gained the trust and respect of his numerous clients. Athletes, businessmen, and other prominent people go to Luis Iglesias if they want a realtor to exceed their expectations.
Florida, especially the Brickell area is one of the most desirable and sought-after places where one can simply live and enjoy the good life. Since the construction of grandiose mansions owned by a certain Mary Brickell a few decades ago, this particular area became the place to go for the Miami elite and the filthy rich. Miami is currently experiencing a boom in the real estate business. Brickell Condos, Luxury and Waterfront Homes are being bought by a lot of investors, both American and foreign. In fact, Brickell Condos for sale are being sold by Luis Iglesias in an extraordinary rate. This is particularly caused by the tumultuous flow of foreign investors, most of which come from Brazil, Venezuela and Mexico. Some investors also come from Argentina. What's peculiar about these investors is that they are not only attracted to Miami because of the opportunity to make a profit but also because of the positive reception of Miami to the Spanish culture - its language and the celebration of its festivities. As a speaker of the Spanish language, Luis Iglesias is the person to approach - he has already built an extensive portfolio of Spanish-speaking clientele.
A New York-born, Miami-raised individual who had his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing in Florida International University, Luis Iglesias has a lot of luxury condominiums to offer to his vast clientele. The Setai, a $27 million dollar condominium was a temporary home by some of the world's most famous people - Simon Cowell, Maddona, and Jim Carrey have stayed at The Setai that costs $30,000 per night, on the average. Some of the other well-known condo units come from the 500 Brickell - East Tower. This deluxe condominium is armed with imported marble countertops, designer cabinets, and other lavish decors. The website even comments that the 500 Brickell - East Tower is a "no-brainer". Julio Iglesias' personal and enticing descriptions of each condominium are only showcasing his outstanding communication and negotiation skills. The detailed description - the designer cabinets to the imported granite and marble countertops - only displays Luis Iglesias' extensive knowledge of what he is doing.
Brickell, called "Millionaire's Row" by some, is a luxurious and urban neighbourhood in Miami. A bee hive of the Miami elite, condos here are priced by the million dollars. Through years of experience as a Property Appraiser and Mortgage Broker, Luis Iglesias' extensive knowledge on the Brickell Real Estate made him an authority on the real estate business.
As the owner of the website luisiglesias.net, Luis Iglesias also takes the lead in real estate internet marketing. Going to luisiglesias.com will show a user-friendly layout. The website offers buyer services in his website where a Contract Form is provided. After submitting the Contact Form, Luis Iglesias will send a listing of all properties that meet the criteria of the client. All of this is done online. If there are Buyer Services there are also the Seller Services where they compute the net worth of a home. Going to luisiglesias.com will show you a user-friendly layout. Added bonuses in his website are blogs about Miami Real Estate and Luis Iglesias' biography.
Truly, Luis Iglesias' superior management at communication skills, coupled with years of experience as an Appraiser and Mortgage Broker made him the top contender in the real estate business.

4th Eastern Africa Oil, Gas & Energy Conference 2013, held in Nairobi
NAIROBI (PRBuzz.com) May 6, 2013 -- Recent large and world-class gas discoveries in Mozambique and Tanzania, with potential for more to come, and commercial oil flows in Kenya, show the potential of the enormous exploration frontiers of Eastern Africa, both onshore and offshore. The impact of this resurgence is rebalancing the Africa oil-gas industry landscape into a wider continental oil and gas/LNG game, with potentially global consequences.
The 4th Eastern Africa Oil, Gas & Energy Conference 2013 gives new insight in the opportunities, acreage, key players and corporate and government strategies in this region. The Conference is hosted annually by Global Pacific & Partners and will be held from June 18th to 20th in the InterContinental Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, including the pre-Conference 4th Eastern Africa Strategy Briefing by Dr Duncan Clarke, Africa's foremost strategist in the upstream. The meeting highlights presentations of CEO's, government officials, Ministers and key executives from within leading corporate and state oil companies.
Eastern Africa has been transformed into a fast-emerging oil and gas frontier region. The on- and offshore potential includes exclusive economic zones, deepwater opportunities and ultra-deep plays. The 15 nation states in the region are diverse in scale, resource potential, contract terms, and venture-types and in regard to exploration cycles and hydrocarbon discoveries.
Increasing numbers of companies have entered open acreage and bid rounds, and more blocks have been leased than ever before, with more drilling commitments concluded. Foreign state-owned companies like CNOOC and PTTEP have invested in Eastern Africa while Super-Majors (Total, Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Shell and BP) have shown renewed interest, and Independents from around the world now abound.
During the 4th Eastern Africa Conference key Speakers will reveal the exploration potential, future opportunities and growth in countries like Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia, DRC, the Seychelles, Tanzania, Madagascar, Burundi, Rwanda, and regional oil giant Uganda.
"The new discoveries will add substantial net wealth to the Eastern Africa's littoral states where they are located, and induce higher economic growth rates and regional development," Dr Duncan Clarke, Chairman of Global Pacific & Partners, says.
Prior to the conference the 4th Eastern Africa Strategy Briefing together with the celebrated 51st PetroAfricanus Dinner, will be held at June 18th. During the Strategy Briefing Dr Duncan Clarke, author of several historiography and economics books about Africa's oil future, provides key insights on the corporate upstream oil and gas game, governments and state oil firms and licensing agency strategies.

Chicago, IL (PRBuzz.com) May 6, 2013 -- American Homeowner Preservation ("AHP") is celebrating five years' of providing families at risk of foreclosure with viable long-term solutions to stay in their homes. Founded in 2008 as a 501c3 nonprofit in Cincinnati, AHP pioneered the short sale leaseback as a foreclosure remedy for struggling homeowners. Faced with resistance from many banks which insisted that families vacate their homes in order to have their short sales approved, AHP changed their strategy in early 2011: now a for-profit headquartered in Chicago, AHP purchases pools of nonperforming mortgages from banks and other lenders and then offers borrowers sustainable solutions to stay in their homes, including reduced payments and discounted principal balances. If homes are vacant or families want to move, AHP offers deficiency waivers and incentive payments to cooperate with short sales in order to put the homes back into productive service.
Originally modeled to be financed with municipal tax-exempt bonds, American Homeowner Preservation's efforts are now primarily supported by accredited investors, both high net worth individuals and institutional investors. "Doing good for families and communities and doing well by achieving attractive returns for our investors do not have to be mutually-exclusive--achieving both is possible," said Founder and Chief Executive Officer Jorge Newbery. Since inception, AHP has assisted hundreds of families, reducing payments by an average of over 40% and cutting principal balances by an average of more than 50%. "Solutions are prompt, easy-to-understand and simply require families to choose the option they want. We avoid the endless document requests and opaque, inefficient processing of the big banks," explained Asset Manager Michael Nelson
Further, American Homeowner Preservation has helped return hundreds of abandoned, vacant homes to productive use. "Frequently, families are overwhelmed with the threat of foreclosure, do not understand their options and get frustrated with the never-ending maze laid out by their banks. Thus, they move out, the homes get vandalized, and the neighborhood is further blighted," explained Newbery. "Many lenders apparently hesitate at foreclosing on vacant, vandalized homes due to municipal requirements to maintain and they sell these loans to AHP. We will try to contact the homeowners and offer them a modest cash incentive to sign a Deed in Lieu or cooperate with a short sale. We prefer paying struggling families than paying lawyers to foreclose," Newbery added. "Returning these homes to productive use is essential to the stabilization of many communities devastated by the foreclosure crisis."
American Homeowner Preservation's evolution continues, but the mission of helping families stay in their homes remains the same. "Even with the recent improvements in some housing markets, there are still millions of homeowners at risk of foreclosure who are struggling to stay in their homes." said Newbery. "AHP wants to help these families."

During the development process of his facility, Kevin chose one of the smaller laser tag arena builders in the industry to install and paint his attraction. Once the arena installation was complete and his facility was open for a few months, he came to regret decision. In just a few months, his artwork and murals were fading away, leaving guests less than impressed and creating an unsafe environment throughout the entire arena. Players would have a difficult time even seeing the walls, which caused constant collisions with obstacles.
Kevin needed to do something to fix his arena, and toward the end of 2012, he contacted the laser tag experts at Creative Works. Understandably, he was skeptical about paying for an arena again after having such a bad experience the first time. But after conversations with the Creative Works team, reviewing the pictures on their website, and talking to their clients, he knew they had the experience and talent to elevate the arena to the standard he expected. The team at Creative Works wanted to make sure Kevin was involved in the design process from the beginning, so they put together some custom renderings to show him exactly how his new arena would look. Once the new look was finalized, Creative Works booked a trip to California in March of 2013 to repaint his entire laser tag arena.
Within the first day of the new paint installation, he knew he made the right decision. The new arena theme, which was painted to look like a battle station floating in a far galaxy, was brighter and more vibrant than he could have imagined. After a full week of painting by two artists, the attraction was finished and Kevin re-opened to guests. "We are astounded at the exceptional work that (the artists) were able to complete in such a limited time frame," commented Kevin.
The response he's received has been fantastic, and guests love the new arena. Kevin was extremely pleased with the process "from the scheduling of service, which was concise and thorough, to the final product, which wildly exceeded our expectations." Creative Works hopes to be able to work with Kevin again on future endeavors.

MGI to Represent Company's Line of Virtual Studio and Robotic Camera Technology
Montrouge, France (PRBuzz.com) May 6, 2013 -- Hybrid, a leading provider of real-time graphics and robotic camera systems, is announcing a dealership agreement with Media Group International (MGI), www.mgi.tv, a leading systems integrator in the Middle East. Under the agreement, MGI will sell and support Hybrid's virtual studio and robotic camera products in the region.
With offices in Qatar, UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, MGI (formerly known as Salam Media Cast), has served the Gulf region for over 35 years. Within the past year, MGI has entered into several notable partnerships to help diversify its business. MGI recently signed a deal with HoloVis International, developers of advanced 2D and 3D immersive systems, as well as recent agreements with VidiGo, Visual Unity and never.no.
"I'm confident that MGI will provide excellent support and increase our exposure to potential customers in the Middle East," said Olivier Cohen, CEO, Hybrid. "They take a keen interest in the product lines they carry and make sure their sales and technical support team are well versed on each line they represent. I've been very impressed with how they work and their commitment to their broad customer base."
MGI will support and sell Hybrid's flagship Krypton 3D tracking virtual studio solution, the NEON trackless virtual set, the Chrome broadcast robotic jib, and Hybrid's entire line of robotic camera systems.
Some of the other partners MGI represents include: Avid, Axon, Canon, Christie Digital, Cisco Systems Inc., Evertz, Front Porch Digital, Fujinon /Fujifilm Global, Grass Valley, Harmonic Inc., JVC, Oracle, Quantel, ROSS, Sennheiser, Sonifex, Sony, Studer, Telestream, and Vizrt.
"Hybrid's line of robotics and virtual sets are very innovative and fit perfectly into our current lineup," said Paul Wallis, Sales Director, UAE, MGI. "We're looking forward to learning as much as we can about the technology in order to share this knowledge with our current and prospective customers throughout the Middle East. In particular, we're very excited to showcase the virtual studio in a box [NEON] system, as this solution can potentially be very cost effective, while enabling our clients to produce live shows with dynamic virtual sets. Personally, I believe there is a significant market for this product within corporations, government organizations, schools and news organizations of all sizes."
While many of the virtual studio solutions currently on the market are expensive or technically complex, the NEON trackless virtual studio solution is a user-friendly system that simply requires software running on a PC. NEON supports up to five live HD/SD camera inputs and can be controlled via Hybrid's Ozone software controller or through BPI I/O production switchers, such as Broadcast Pix, Sony, or Grass Valley production switchers.
Rather than camera tracking and calibration technology, the Neon 3D virtual studio solution enables virtual camera movements in real-time from fixed cameras on set. Despite its simplicity, the 3D virtual scenes are photo-realistic and anti-aliased. Users can either use Neon's set design tools, or import virtual sets created using 3D Max, Maya, Softimage, or other common modeling software.
Hybrid is a leading manufacturer of broadcast production technologies. The company's mission is to develop solutions and products that allow the digital media market to produce value-added content within an integrated workflow. Our product range includes virtual studio and augmented reality solutions and broadcast robotic camera supports. Ft Lauderdale, FL (PRBuzz.com) May 6, 2013 -- The Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (CKSF) has awarded the first Nursing Tuition Back Scholarship to Mariah Ball, a junior at Eastern Kentucky University. Miss Ball outscored over 4,500 nursing students to win a $250 scholarship by taking a series of online quizzes based on her anatomy and physiology course.
Tuition-Back Scholarships provide students the chance to win back tuition one course at a time without having to fill out forms or write essays that take time away from studying. This revolutionary scholarship concept rewards college students who study hard and master their course content.
"I really like the quiz format compared to essays. I feel like sometimes people who are very deserving of scholarships miss out because they have difficulty with writing essays or putting their thoughts on paper," said Ms. Ball after learning she had won her tuition back. "The quiz format is a great way to reward students for their knowledge without judging how well they write on paper."
During the months of March and April more than 4,500 nursing students nationwide registered with the Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation to participate in the Nursing Tuition Back Scholarship. To win, students first participated in the Challenge Round: three quizzes covering the core concepts of an anatomy and physiology course. Scoring was based on time and accuracy for each question. At the end of the challenge round, the top 25% of scorers advanced to take one last quiz in the Championship Round and the chance to win their tuition back.
"We want to reward students who really put in the time to learn the course material," said Daryl Hulce, CKSF founder and president. "Our goal is to keep adding courses to this program until it is possible for a student to go to school for free."
While all nursing students were eligible to compete for the scholarship's base award of $250, only students attending schools enrolled in the Tuition Back Scholarship program were qualified to win back their full tuition. Colleges pay a $100 per course enrollment fee to become a "Tuition Back Scholarship School." The fee allows all undergraduate nursing students at their school to participate and win up to $1,000 of their tuition back while they study.
CKSF has included additional nursing courses for the coming 2013-2014 academic year. School administrators interested in providing the Tuition Back Scholarship opportunity to their students should contact CKSF before August to be included.
Developed and administered at Nova Southeastern University's Fischler School of Education, the Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (CKSF) creates unique opportunities for students of all ages by awarding scholarships and prizes through the use of Internet-based quiz competitions. Students who answer the greatest number of questions correctly in the shortest amount of time are declared contest winners. Since 2001, CKSF has awarded over $350,000 to 800 participants in the United States. CKSF scholarships can be used at the school of the winners' choice. For more information on CKSF, please visit www.cksf.org.
