New UAE IT security laws

(PRBuzz.com) August 28, 2013 -- A newly published Cabinet Decision on Information Technology (IT) Security Regulations in respect of Governmental Entities (the „Cabinet Decision") has been issued by his Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Miniser of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai.

The Decision prohibits governmental employees from sending, forwarding, moving, sharing or responding to email communications containing confidential information, viruses, spyware, illegal content or any other content that may infringe on intellectual property rights.

In addition, the new Cabinet Decision prevents employees from using their official email address for any personal purposes. The user is also prohibited from  participating in the publication of emails for personal, commercial, religious or political purposes. Publishing  emails even for charity purposes is prohibited without obtaining the prior permission of the respective Federal Authority.
The official email address cannot be used for any personal purposes and the use of free email addresses such as Hotmail, Gmail and Yahoo has been banned under the new regulations.
The Cabinet Decision also sets forth different standards for internet use, emphasizing that the internet should be used for work purposes only, or to increase the employee's work-related experience at the respective Federal Authority.

Included in the Cabinet Decision are many other regulations aimed at enhancing the concept of IT security among employees as well as the adherence to guidelines set by IT departments at federal government entities.

The Cabinet Decision also discusses the sanctions to be imposed in the event of violations.

I Have a Dream Is A Character Misnomer for Those Infecting Masses of Americans Reveals CBC Leader

DavidSon alludes to the African American subculture and pop entertainment that peddles wayward music and videos.

"We have millionaire entertainers pushing violence to kids that the entertainers don't even dare themselves. They use the 'N' word with such ease and expletives without an end. Women are degraded as a matter of course. This is much more than a generational shift, this is human degeneration in its lowest form."

According to DavidSon there's no way that King or anyone else could envision that African American's level of acceptance would be used to negatively impact so many.

"As it turns out being accepted into the main-stream had unanticipated side-effects. Who would have thought that character would not be an issue where billions could be made off of violent and sexually lurid music and routines, and that African Americans would be leading the way.

DavidSon says the human toll is staggering.

"While generations of persons struggled for equality, this generation uses the rights to exploit their own. It is unconscionable to consider a black male drop out rate of 50%, homicide rate of 50%, out of wedlock rate exceeding 72%, and incarcerations above 30% with higher rates to come. Yet the endless tunes of violence, irresponsible sex acts and the occult are pumped into communities endlessly. It is the Civil Righteousness challenge of this generation."

When asked what can be done? DavidSon is resolute.

"African Americans have overcome slavery and Jim Crow. They have one hope. Return to the faith that freed them! "

Monster Math educational app now raising funds on Indiegogo

(PRBuzz.com) August 28, 2013 -- Proven to help kids improve their math skills, Monster Math is both a fun digital edu-game for students, and a diagnostic tool for parents and teachers.

"Some students develop a mental barrier towards mathematics," explains game developer, Rod Cummings. "This is the result of their misunderstanding or missing a basic concept before moving onto other math skill sets." Inspired by this, he designed Monster Math to pinpoint exactly which of these foundational concepts each player is missing, and strengthen them. By playing the game for only one hour a week, students from K to Grade 12 can cover the entire year's curriculum for their school district, and enjoy a smoother academic journey.

Originally a board game developed with teachers and tested in schools, Monster Math is set to be transformed into a digital format by January 2014, pending a successful campaign on Indiegogo. Until October 13, backers have an opportunity to make this unrivalled educational tool available on laptops, tablets, smartphones and PCs.

The app will include different play modes: a pass-and-play mode with multiple players using the same device, and an asynchronous mode with users playing together on a number of different devices. "Monster Math was developed in a teaching laboratory, and refined using statistical techniques, to ensure that all players enjoy an equal chance of winning, regardless of differences in grade level and academic ability," explains Cummings. This means that students of different skill and grade levels - and even their parents - can play together.

Monster Math keeps track of every question, in every game, analyzing exactly which basic principles are stumping each player. When in pass-and-play mode, everyone can assist each other with explanations, or learn basic math concepts from the advanced questions posed to the other players. The game also motivates students to discover solutions, when they might not otherwise have tried, simply because it's fun.

"We are incredibly excited about the possibilities of launching the Monster Math app," concludes Cummings. "That means it can be used to help kids all over the world get interested in math and see it as an enjoyable subject rather than one to dread."
