Pinehurst Toyota will be receiving the 2014 Corolla later this year, and thanks to the power of the internet and its users, some important details about the new sedan have been leaked. Toyota has done well though in keeping most of the details on the car under-wraps since we caught our first glimpse at the Corolla's next generation design at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.

Pinehurst Toyota has said that they will have all trims and colors available when the 2014 Corolla is released later this year.

"We feel that in order to be one of the best dealerships in the area that we have to offer the latest and greatest that we can offer," says Tom Holderfield. "We're happy to say that we will have the 2014 Corolla as soon as it is released."

The 2014 Corolla will reportedly continue to use a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, though the mill has been massaged a bit, adding Toyota's Valvematic continuously variable valve timing. A four-speed automatic (yep!) will be offered in the base model, though the manual transmission now has six gears, and higher trim levels can be had with a CVT. Both engine output and fuel economy numbers should improve slightly over the 2013 model. Currently, the Corolla produces 132 horsepower and 128 pound-feet of torque, and achieves 27/34 miles per gallon (city/highway) with the five-speed manual 'box.
