    (PRBuzz.com) April 1, 2013 -- While it's long been a belief that proactive maintenance on a home like soft pressure washing and gutter cleaning can protect a home's value, according to recent statistics released in a study by researchers at the University of Connecticut, routine maintenance can actually increase the value of a house by about 1% each year.  Dave Wyatt, of Even Flow Services explains, "Having your brick, siding or decks looking new again can add real value to your home. It's no wonder we have customers calling us right before they put the 'For Sale' up in their yards."

    Roof cleaning is another service, says Wyatt, that increases the curb appeal on many homes and helps get the home buyers in the door. Says Wyatt, "Those black streaks growing on your roof are most likely a bacteria called Gloeocapsa Magna. This is a form of algae that grows on most exterior surfaces that get too much shade. The roof is one of the most crucial structures of any house and its condition will highly affect the integrity and value of the property. In recent years, black stains have been an increasing problem. The stains are formed by this airborne algae and can jeopardize your roof's longevity. It is also an eyesore that will diminish your home's curb appeal."

    Proactive maintenance also means gutter cleaning and Wyatt emphasizes this should be done twice a year. "Your gutters should be cleaned at least twice a year, in autumn when fallen leaves can accumulate, and in the spring when new tree debris can build up. But it's not just the inside that needs attention. These systems serve as a means of directing water down and away from the foundation of the home. Therefore, they exist on most homes and buildings around the country. While clean gutters can add to curb appeal, dirty, striped gutters can take away from a home's curb appeal just as quickly. These black streaks are in the oxidation layer of the paint and will not come out with ordinary cleaners or de-greasers. Clean houses look so much better with fully restored exteriors."

    Each night, hundreds of restaurants in Coral Springs,FL and the surrounding communities throw away good food prepared for the day but that has gone unsold. And each night individuals and families all over South Florida go to bed hungry.

    It's a situation Bobbie Celler first became aware of when his 16-year-old niece showed him a photo her friend had taken of food still in its package but tossed in a trash can by an eatery owner. It is a situation that irked him until he came up with a solution.

    Celler is a highly successful attorney and entrepreneur at the helm of The Celler Organization. Near and dear to Celler's heart these days, though, is the organization he founded a few months ago after he figured out how to bridge the gap between perfectly good food bound for the landfill and hungry South Floridians.

    It was the photo his 16-year-old niece showed him that sparked the idea for The Bobbie Celler Feeds the World Foundation.
    "I thought about it more and more," says Celler. "All we needed was refrigerator trucks to pick up the food after buying it for pennies on the dollar or taking it as donation. The birth of an idea formed in two weeks."
    That happened only after Celler convinced restaurant owners and grocery stores that Florida's Jack Davis Law protects businesses from liability if they give away food.

    They could sell cheaply or donate food with no risk.
    "It's where business meets a non-profit status and creates incentives for the business owner and for our organization to help those hungry families that need the help the most," says Celler.
    Bobbie Celler Feeds the World Foundation purchases pre-owned trucks that are converted to environmentally friendly ethanol-based fuel consumption. The food is then packed in the foundation's own customized biodegradable corn starch food containers and 100 percent recycled paperboard food boxes.

    "We use our trucks to deliver it to food banks and ultimately to shelters and homes," says Celler.
    Celler said he founded Bobbie Celler Feeds the World to give back to the community that fostered his success and because he wants to leave a legacy for his daughters, ages 4, 3 and 6 months.

    "I want them to say 'wow, that's my dad," he says. "They can transform any dream into reality if they believe in it enough."
    The Bobbie Celler Feeds the World Foundation not only does what its name says, but it is also a job creator in South Florida, just as the rest of Celler's companies are. The Celler Organization is designed to increase revenue for hospitals and physicians by implementing cutting-edge solutions to promote efficiency, reduce costs, and significantly increase healthcare revenue.
