Targeted ad insertion, shared hub support, and lower bandwidth requirements make this next-level solution unique.

Ottawa, ON ( June 12, 2013 -- International Datacasting (TSX: IDC), a global leader in digital content distribution for the world's premiere radio and television broadcasters, will show the second generation of its popular STAR Pro Audio Solution for the first time in Asia at CommunicAsia2013 in Singapore, running from June 18-21. IDC will be exhibiting at stand 1D2-04.

This second generation of the STAR Pro Audio Solution opens up new revenue generating opportunities for radio networks by providing localized ad insertion. The new platform also enables time-shifting functionality, allowing broadcasters to play the right content at the desired time. Broadcasters can now seamlessly adjust for time zones and rapidly adapt to conflicting live programming schedules.

In addition to increasing ad revenues and improving flexibility, the STAR Pro Audio Solution significantly lowers per-channel costs through shared hub support. Additionally, it uses up to 70% less bandwidth compared to competitive solutions.

"With this next generation of the STAR Pro Audio Solution, radio broadcasters can look forward to two very important things--boosting revenue and lowering their operating expenditures," said Doug Lowther, President and CEO, International Datacasting. "The platform increases advertising revenues because it enables highly localized ad insertion. The ability to sell more targeted ads--by location, demographic, time zone, or language--means more revenue opportunities across the entire network."

The STAR Pro Audio Solution includes a copy split capability that allows operators to send select ads to specific regions or specific receivers. Stored audio files can be inserted into live or recorded programming. Cost savings are realized through shared hub support which enables multiple radio networks to share one 4-channel receiver instead of having each network deploy its own stand-alone, single channel receiver. Additionally, the STAR Pro Audio Solution requires just 120 kHz space segment for stereo, as opposed to 440 kHz for competitive systems, resulting in further cost savings.

    About International Datacasting Corporation:

International Datacasting Corporation (TSX: IDC) is a global leader in digital content distribution for the world's premiere broadcasters in radio, television, data and digital cinema. IDC offers a broad portfolio of advanced solutions including the STAR Pro AudioTM Solution, LASERTM Targeted Ad Insertion Platform, and the Digital TattooTM DTH Over IP Gateway. The company's products and solutions are in demand for radio and television networks, targeted ad insertion, digital cinema, 3D live events, satellite news gathering, sports contribution, VOD, and IPTV. IDC is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada, with regional offices in Arnhem, the Netherlands and in San Diego, California. The company has installations in over 100 countries and service offices in Thailand and Singapore, and an international network of value-added partners and resellers. For more information visit:

Fort Lauderdale, FL. ( June 12, 2013 -- For thirteen years, high school and college students have been signing up with the Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (CKSF) to win scholarships by testing what they know. On June 7, CKSF celebrated its millionth registrant, a high school senior from Klein Oak High School in Spring, Texas.

The first Common Knowledge Scholarship was created in 2001 to reward average students who had well-rounded, practical knowledge. The Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation found a niche in creating scholarships that utilize online quizzes instead of essays and GPA. This method proved to give every student a real chance to win money for college. Since then, CKSF has developed a wide variety of scholarship and academic enrichment programs for students of all ages.

To date, the Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation has awarded over $350,000 and more than 800 scholarships to students. Many of the scholarships are funded by unexpected donations, which allow students to participate for free. Though participants range from high school to graduate students, winners have also included parents who have assigned scholarships to their children.

In 2004, CKSF administered scholarship quizzes based on information from websites such as the Miami Dolphins and the FBI. The success of those scholarships gave way to other partnerships with organizations including the United Way, University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Nova Southeastern University (NSU).

The effectiveness of the FBI Scholarship also led the Miami FBI Crimes Against Children Unit and CKSF to team up and create the USA-SOS (Safe Online Surfing) Internet Challenge, an internet safety program designed to help students become responsible cyber citizens. More of a social good rather than a scholarship, the program awards students with prizes and trophies.

"Helping average students pay for college is absolutely the best job ever," said Daryl Hulce, CKSF founder and president. "The ability to bring students and their parents together to earn scholarships is a rewarding opportunity."

Today, CKSF administers several new contests each month and continues to grow at a rate of approximately 600 to 1,000 new students per day.

    About Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation
Developed and administered at Nova Southeastern University's Fischler School of Education, the Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (CKSF) creates unique opportunities for students of all ages by awarding scholarships and prizes through the use of Internet-based quiz competitions. Students who answer the greatest number of questions correctly in the shortest amount of time are declared contest winners. Since 2001, CKSF has awarded over $350,000 to 800 participants in the United States. CKSF scholarships can be used at the school of the winners' choice. For more information on CKSF, please visit

    Tranquility Dental Center

Fredricksburg, VA's Tranquility Dental Center Prevents Tooth Decay and Offers Root Canal Therapy

( June 12, 2013 -- When your mouth is subjected to infection, it's very important that affected tissue is removed and your smile is restored to a healthy state. Root canals are a common procedure at Tranquility Dental Center and are used to remove tooth infections without damaging your natural tooth structure. While patients may be initially nervous about their root canal procedure, modern dentistry has made it so that root canal procedures are painless. Fredricksburg, VA patients are always made to feel comfortable both during their endodontic procedure and during their recovery.

Endodontics is the area of dentistry that deals with the nerves of a patient's tooth. When the nerves become infected, they need to be completely removed through a root canal. If patients delay their root canal, it can turn into a serious dental problem and even result in bone loss. Root canals are used to save the tooth and prevent other dental concerns from developing. Tranquility Dental Center makes sure that all of their patients avoid serious health problems with the root canal services available at their Fredricksburg, VA practice. Local anesthetic is used during each root canal procedure to make sure that patients experience no discomfort or pain during their procedure. The anesthetic is applied to the area surrounding the affected tooth, numbing the site where the infected tissue is removed. Once your tooth is cleaned and the infected is removed, it is either filled or fitted with a crown. Restoring your tooth protects it against decay and makes sure that the tooth blends in beautifully with the rest of your natural smile. While patients may feel minimal discomfort in the days following the procedure, over-the-counter painkillers can easily relieve any soreness or sensitivity.

If you find yourself in need of a root canal, visit Tranquility Dental center in Fredricksburg, VA. With the high quality endodontic care and expertise available at their practice, you can restore the natural health and beauty of your smile.

Appliance breakdown often leads to frustration and anxiety "It will cost money just to find out what is wrong!" The $30 part will cost $200 to install!"

West Ashley SC ( June 12, 2013 -- When home appliances fail to operate consumers often search the internet for a local appliance repair service. Dad tinkers with it a little bit hoping to avoid calling the appliance service technician to diagnose the problem. The dishwasher is old and may not be worth replacing. On the other hand, it might be something simple. Either way, there will be a price to pay.

The local service technician explains the cost of appliance repair. There are many overhead expenses related to operating a quality service company such as rent, vehicle gas and maintenance, payroll, advertising, liability insurance and other costs. A home service provider must be profitable enough to cover these expenses or they would be out of business. The well-meaning jack-of-all-trades who lives in the neighborhood does not have these expenses so he will work cheaper. Because he is not highly-trained and insured like a qualified appliance service technician, the customer is at risk of further damage to the appliance or their home.

When the appliance repair man from Aviv Service Today arrives at a customer's home he diagnoses the problem and quotes a "repair cost." The repair cost includes all necessary replacement parts, labor and a warranty guarantee. The total cost of appliance repair also includes a service charge for bringing a qualified technician to the site to diagnose the problem.

"We do not try to fool anyone into believing that the appliance repair cost does not cover some fraction of our overall operating cost and not just the actual part and labor cost," said Ofer Hubara, owner of Aviv Service Today. "Furthermore, we prefer using the repair cost method because the fact is some technicians are faster than others and it would be unfair to charge an hourly rate based simply on time versus what the actual appliance repair cost should be."

Area residents describe Aviv Service Today as a friendly neighborhood appliance repair man who provides a quality home service with good old-fashioned customer care. Visit to learn more.

Brooklyn, NY ( June 12, 2013- A local artist has used Spike Art Creations' ferrofluid art kit to create an outfit for Lady Gaga that looks like something that came from outer space.

Lady Gaga is recognized worldwide for her outrageous style. Many try to imitate her unique and extravagant outfits, but she remains one step ahead of her fans, and light years beyond the competition. Many consider her style to be nothing short of artistic genius.

Spike Art Creations, a small startup company in Brooklyn, New York, has invented a new art form that takes Lady Gaga's outfits to a new level. The company's art kits use ferrofluid, which was invented by NASA to be used in outer space, combined with a rare magnet to help create amazing artwork.
"We have invented a method for creating 3-dimensional art work, with unique spikes, and colors so vivid they look like nothing you have ever seen before. This effect is virtually impossible to recreate with an other medium," says Frank Marino, company President.

Using Spike Art Creations' art kit, combined with photographs from the public domain, local artists have begun creating outfits for their favorite celebrities. Lady Gaga has been featured in several artists' renditions, including the photographs here. Spike Art Creations ferrofluid art kit has given these artists a way to create artwork that looks as though it has come from another planet, which has enabled them to envision an even more unique style for this one-of-a-kind singer. Human Health Institute has officially launched its newest product, Radio Frequency Gel, for Optimal RF and Bio-Lift Techniques.

Miami, FL ( June 12, 2013 -- Human Health Institute, a well-known informative company about Non-Surgical Body Contour, has officially launched their newest product "Radio Frequency Gel."  This product has an effective result for radio-frequency, bio-lift and galvanic treatments and facial lifting techniques as well as utra-cavitation.

According to the company's representative, this product has been proven safe and effective to use. This has become more in demand due to its better transmission of the temperatures and frequencies. The RadioFrequency gel is designed to offer optimal results, and is also the recommended gel when using many 5 in one RF systems as it contains optimal viscosity.

Daisy Molina, supervisor of CountourSlim Spa, reported that the quality is significantly above standard, specifically where collagen restoration is required, face cannot be washed and this gel can be wiped off with damp cloth without feeling sticky.  It is also comparable for cavitation treatments, and after testing proved to be 20-25% better in all treatment procedures.

Similar to the companies who are selling the product, the company claims that it helps in maintaining better calibration in their LED cavitation machines as well as traditional ultra-cavitation systems of all brands. As attested by registered specialists, this product is best in solving anti-aging and body contour techniques.

Product users are urged to take time reading the products procedures in order to ensure safe results.   As radio frequency non-surgical procedures increase, having optimal non-invasive anti-aging results is recommended by many experts.

This product is rapidly growing in popularity, and is expected to make its way onto the global market shortly.

Washington, DC ( June 12, 2013- The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law today released The Louis D. Brandeis Center's Short Guide to the Law Against Campus Anti-Semitism, an LDB Fact Sheet on Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights has observed that Jewish American students often do not know their rights against anti-Semitism on college and university campuses. The Brandeis Center intends for its Fact Sheet to remedy this problem.

Within the Fact Sheet students are able to find answers to many of their questions, such as what exactly Title VI is and why it protects them as Jewish students. More importantly, it helps students identify when an incident is anti-Semitic, specifying various qualifications like if something is "demonizing Israel with symbols and images associated with classic anti-Semitism, comparing Israeli policy to that of the Nazis, and blaming Israel for all inter-religious or political tension," amongst others. Furthermore, the Fact Sheet provides directions to resources like Brandeis Center lawyers, as well as reassuring students that universities are not allowed to retaliate against them in the face of accusations.

The Fact Sheet serves as a guidepost for Jewish students who face hostile environments, harassment or other forms of discrimination, informing them of their rights under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and how to go about responding to anti-Semitism they experience. Crafted by Brandeis Center staff attorney Danit Sibovits, the fact sheet shines a light on underused processes available to victims of anti-Semitic biases and sentiments, while helping identify what actually constitutes such an incident.

LDB President Kenneth L. Marcus commented, "Jewish students will now have the knowledge that they are protected from unjust and anti-Semitic treatment."

The Fact Sheet comes as the Brandeis Center's legal advocacy program is gaining momentum, increasing the Center's campus monitoring and advocacy. By addressing commonly asked questions and providing answers and resources, the fact sheet is intended to raise awareness of issues encountered by over 40% of Jewish American college students and is a call to action for those directly affected.

The Louis D. Brandeis Center, Inc., or LDB, is an independent, nonprofit organization established to advance the civil and human rights of the Jewish people and promote justice for all. The Brandeis Center conducts research, education, and advocacy to combat the resurgence of anti-Semitism on college and university campuses. It is not affiliated with the Massachusetts University, the Kentucky law school, or any of the other institutions that share the name and honor the memory of the late U.S. Supreme Court justice.

( June 12, 2013 -- Scalada to bring in its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Titan Holdings, Inc. and Cherokee Holdings, LLC, to provide water solutions which will potentially enable the Midway-Sunset Oil Fields to greatly increase its oil recovery operations.

Singapore - Scalada Holdings Ltd., ( announced today that it has been approached to explore water reclamation solutions for the oil production fields in Long Beach and Taft, California. Scalada's wholly-owned subsidiaries, Titan Holdings, Inc., a Nevada-based environmental company, and Cherokee Holdings, LLC, an engineering firm, are expected to partner in the designing a proposal.

Taft, California, located at the extreme southwestern edge of the San Joaquin Valley, is a major petroleum and natural gas production region and one of the few remaining towns in the United States which exist exclusively because of nearby oil reserves. The Midway-Sunset Oil Field, where Taft is located, is the largest in California and the third largest in the United States. Operating continuously since 1894, it had produced nearly 3 billion barrels (480,000,000 cubic meters) of oil through the end of 2006. By the end of 2008, its estimated reserves totaled 532 million barrels (84,600,000 cubic meters), or 18% of California's total.

Most of the crude oil produced in these fields is in the heavy gravity category (13-14 degrees API), and thus requires enhanced oil recovery operations in the form of steam production and injection. Thermal recovery methods include steam flooding, cyclic steam, and fire flooding, as well as water flooding to boost reservoir pressures. As a result the need for water reclamation and recycling is substantial.

It is expected that Scalada will include its unique and patented Elemental Ionization System (EIS) as a keystone of its proposals. The system is considered the worldwide leader in the field because it enables water reclamation in ways that are economical, environmentally friendly and profitable. The system also has the distinct advantages of onsite placement and almost complete mobility, thus allowing oil and gas producers to reduce greatly the need for vast qualities of fresh water.
Scalada CEO Manly Logan recently stated to the Midway Driller, Taft's newspaper, that "The importance of the historic oil reserves in Taft cannot be overstated. Scalada is proud to potentially be a part of its ongoing strategic success."

Scalada Holdings, Ltd. is in the business of bringing green solutions to the global marketplace that produce sustainable outcomes through its wholly owned subsidiaries Titan Holdings Inc., a Nevada based environmental company, and Cherokee Holdings, LLC. an engineering firm. Scalada Holdings provides integrated solutions over a wide range of technologies, services and extensive knowledge to serve global oil and gas companies in meeting their water and wastewater needs.
