In the early 20th century Otlet imagined people reading documents onscreen in home workstations, but based on the technologies of his time--paper, microfilm, and early television.

    "Otlet's goals were huge--to create a perfectly organized 'world brain' of all knowledge that you could access from your living room. What he actually built was impressive: a kind of paper search engine with over 16 million entries in his pioneering card catalog system, one still used today. Tragically, his larger work was mostly lost until recent decades," said Marc Weber, Founder and Curator of the Museum's Internet History Program.

    Weber will describe Otlet's contribution along with Professor Michael Buckland of the University of California at Berkeley School of Information, a leading Otlet scholar, who was a core advisor on the relevant parts of the Revolution exhibition.

    Visiting with the Royal delegation will be Charlotte Dubray, Director of the Mundaneum, the museum in Belgium dedicated to the records of Otlet's work. His Royal Highness's visit marks a deepening of the relationship between the two institutions. The Computer History Museum used materials from the Mundaneum in Revolution, and the Mundaneum licensed a Computer History Museum mini-movie "Hypertext Pioneers" for a major new exhibit. The Mundaneum will draw on the Computer History Museum's unique expertise in the creation of a "European Web Pioneers" gallery to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Web in 2014-2015.

    The latest drug is titled Lybridos, and was developed by a Dutch/US firm named Emotional Brain. The drug has, not surprisingly, been dubbed as 'female viagra' by the media, and is the latest buzz in sexual behavior studies.

    Adriaan Tuiten, who is the company founder, described the results of the trial as "very, very promising," according to The Telegraph. The trial involved more than 200 women, but the findings have not yet been wholly published.

    The New York Times magazine interview with Tuiten indicated that if all goes well, the drug will be on the market by 2016.

    The company, Emotional Brain, was set up in 2001 in order to research new health care concepts. The company was centered around the focus of sexual health. Since the start of the century, the company has studied cases involving Female Sexual Dysfunction, wherein the concept for the new drug was derived.

    The drug is not without its decryers, as concerns have already come under fire, with a possible backlash from the public; more specifically the public who has concerns on women receiving heightened levels of sexuality.     Fayetteville, NC (PRBuzz.com) June 6, 2013 -- General Motors announced that its Cadillac division has sold nearly 14,000 vehicles in the US during the month of May, almost a 40% increase from May of 2012. Cadillac sales are also up 38% for the year, which is the highest annualized gain since 1979. One factor that has helped them do so is the fact that GM has designed their ATS (their premium sports sedan) to match or exceed the performance guidelines of the BMW 3 series, which is considered to be the leader in five-passenger production cars.

    "The month of May was spectacular for Cadillac as a whole, and was also a spectacular month for us at Cadillac of Fayetteville, says Shotwell.

    Another big move that GM has implemented into the Cadillac division is the introduction of the CUE touch-screen. Available on most models, it mimics a tablet device and offers a sleek mix of technology and entertainment features. When Cadillac works the minor kinks that all new technology bring, the CUE should give them an outstanding edge amongst Cadillac's competition.

    "Cadillac is exceeding benchmarks in all luxury brands, and they have been heading towards this point for the past few years now. The fact that they have actually reached that point in such a short amount of time is amazing," says Shotwell.

    Cadillac still has some work to do on the global market, being behind BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Lexus, but if they can stay on the path that they are on, it won't be long before it takes the top spot as sales leader among luxury brands.
